On October 25, 2011 a CineGrid presentation will be held at TIFF (24th Tokyo International Film Festival). In this session, digital media production and distribution methods using the latest ICT will be introduced. We will consider the latest post-production trends in Hollywood, such as the use of wide range network and cloud technology, collaboration environments with super high definition images, and security in media distribution. A new concept for documentaries in 4K resolution will be unveiled, with a panel discussion about real-time 4K collaborative environments, held in conjunction with Keio University and Tohoku University. Once again, 4K content from around the world will be streamed.
